What the tools save
The shopping-list workspace saves item names, quantities, estimated store prices, store labels and travel assumptions in your browser's local storage when allowed. The simple basket calculator performs its math in the page and does not save its inputs.
What the tools do not do
The pages do not use retailer data APIs, require an account, request your precise location, or submit the list to our server. No shopping list is sold or transmitted to an advertising partner by these tools.
Browser and hosting information
Our web host and your browser may process standard connection data such as your IP address and page requests to deliver the site and its same-origin assets. The statement about local shopping-list data does not mean that all ordinary website access logs are absent.
Clearing, exporting and shared devices
Use Clear all on the shopping-list page to erase the list data stored by that tool. You may also remove site storage in browser settings. Incognito/private browsing usually removes local data when the session ends. The Export CSV feature saves a file on your own device; protect it as you would any shopping or budget information.
